About Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation
(Alejaibra House)
"Love lights its own path. It never gets lost on its way home.
You are always home at Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation"
Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation (also known as Alejaibra House) was created in response to a truth too often ignored: people cannot heal while living in constant survival mode. Systemic oppression, racism, and economic inequity have normalized exhaustion, hustle, and depletion while positioning healing as a privilege reserved for those who can afford time, space, and safety.
We exist to interrupt that reality.
Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation is a common unity rooted healing nonprofit dedicated to restoring the mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of Black and Brown individuals who have been disproportionately impacted by historical and ongoing injustice. Our work centers the belief that healing is not an individual task, it is a communal responsibility.
Why We Exist
The impacts of systemic oppression do not end with policy or circumstance; they live in the body, the subconscious, and the spirit. These impacts often manifest as trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, anger, disconnection, low self-worth, and spiritual fatigue. Too often, individuals are told to “push through” without access to culturally responsive care or collective support. At Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation, we name this clearly: healing has been made inaccessible by design. Our mission is to raise and steward resources so healing is no longer something people must postpone, earn, or sacrifice their basic needs to receive. No one should have to choose between paying bills and tending to their spirit.
Our Approach
Our programs are rooted in African spiritual traditions and community based healing frameworks, intentionally shifting away from Eurocentric, individualistic models that often overlook collective trauma and cultural context. We center Black life, Black experience, and ancestral wisdom not as symbolism, but as essential pathways to restoration.
Through our offerings, participants are supported to:
-
Reclaim agency and authorship over their life narratives
-
Restore connection to self, community, and spirit
-
Release internalized oppression and inherited survival patterns
-
Experience rest, care, and healing in the present moment
We believe that when individuals are supported mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, they are better positioned to access abundance, stability, creativity, and joy now, not someday.

What Makes Us Different
We do not treat healing as a commodity, a performance, or a personal failure, if it takes time. We do not separate healing from justice. We do not ask people to heal alone.
What distinguishes Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation is our commitment to love as a living, guiding force. Love has often been misused; fear masquerading as protection, control mistaken for care, sacrifice confused with worthiness, jealousy showing up as admiration. We work to restore love to its rightful place as a stabilizing, liberatory power. Our guiding symbol reflects this truth: love lights its own path and never gets lost on its way home.
At Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation, love is not conditional. It is present, shared, and practiced.
Our Invitation
Whether you arrive seeking healing, looking to contribute, or hoping to partner, you are welcome here. This is a living ecosystem of rest, remembrance, restoration, and return. Healing takes community. So does celebration. You are always home.

"People can't heal when they are worried about their bills. Healing becomes possible when access replaces scarcity.
When the nervous system is supported, the soul can come back."

Our Mission
Our mission is to make healing accessible, communal, and rooted in love. Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation (Alejaibra House) exist to support the mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of Black and Brown individuals impacted by systemic oppression, racism, and economic stress. We raise and steward resources to remove financial and structural barriers to healing, offering culturally rooted, community based care that allows people to rest, release survival patterns, and reconnect with themselves and one another. We believe healing is not a luxury or a solitary act it takes community, the same way celebration does.

Our Vision
Our vision is a world where healing is woven into everyday life, not reserved for moments of crisis or privilege. We envision communities where Black and Brown people have consistent access to rest, care, and culturally rooted healing without having to sacrifice their basic needs. Ilé Òrì Àjẹ́ Alẹ́jáìbrá Foundation sees healing spaces as communal, intergenerational, and sustained by shared responsibility; places where people are supported to release survival, reconnect with love, and live fully in the present. In this vision, healing is normalized, community is resourced, and love is restored as a stabilizing force.
